WE FIND OUT WHAT OUR PUPILS THINK IN LOTS OF DIFFERENT WAYS AT ST MARY’S:
At St Mary’s we are part of a school project with our family of school to adopt restorative approaches to relationship building and ensuring ALL pupils have a voice. Pupils use circles to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to speak in class meetings
The school Council is elected by the pupils at the start of each school year in every class and help us to find out what the children in their class are thinking.
We have a ‘Criw Cymraeg’ who help to decide what and how we are going to improve how we use Welsh, both in school and in our everday lives
Our eco-council helps to promote environmental awareness, improve the school environment and helps our pupils become responsible citizens of the world.
